As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring that everybody attending Seatrade Maritime Middle East feels safe and confident, and in line with both Informa AllSecure standards and Expo 2020 standards, we are introducing a series of measures and guidance for all attendees.

All of the information you need to know will be communicated to you in advance of your arrival.

Before you arrive

Vaccination and Covid-19 status

The requirements for attending Seatrade Maritime Middle East are dependent on your registration type, which are in accordance with Expo 2020 guidelines. You must register for Seatrade Maritime Middle East in advance of your arrival.

You will be required to show full vaccination status, which must have been achieved by 1 October.

You will need to demonstrate that you have had at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine or provide proof of a negative PCR test conducted within the 72 hours of entering the Expo 2020 site.

If you have recieved a full Covid-19 vaccine, you do not need to provide a negative PCR test.

Do you have symptoms?

If you are displaying any symptoms listed on the WHO website, have been asked to self-isolate or live with someone that is also experiencing symptoms then we kindly ask you to take personal accountability and not travel. You will still be able to access the event through the online event portal.

Upon arrival

Before arrival to the Expo 2020 site, please ensure you have completed the actions required of your ticket type.

If you have been double vaccinated, your Covid-19 status will have been verified during your Expo 2020 accreditation. More information will be shared shortly.

We would encourage you to bring proof of your vaccination status with you. If you were vaccinated outside of the UAE, you should register your vaccination through the ICA UAE Smart App, or via the website.

If you require a negative PCR test result, please bring proof of your status for inspection upon arrival at the Expo 2020 site.

Please be aware that if you have not been fully vaccinated, you will require a negative PCR test to be allowed access to any part of the Expo 2020 site, which includes the new Dubai Exhibition Centre.

Onsite measures

Face coverings

Unless you are medically exempt, you will need to wear a face covering during the event and time on the Expo 2020 site.

Space to socially distance

There will be ample space throughout the trade show, conference and networking to allow for social distancing at a minimum space of two metres between individuals.

With widened aisles, multiple places to grab a drink and a bite to eat, as well as space outside the venue to get some fresh air, we want all attendees to feel as comfortable as possible.

Between Expo 2020 and Informa AllSecure standards, you can expect a safe, hygienic experience with regular sanitisation of frequent touch points throughout both the Expo 2020 site and STMME venue.

There will also be multiple hand-sanitiser points.

Medical services

There will be appropriate facilities and specialist staff at Expo 2020 to manage any potential medial issues on-site.
