I began my career in Oman Shipping Company (OSC) in 2008 as a Junior Commercial Officer - Tankers. During my tenure in OSC, I have been involved in the delivery and employment of over 30 tankers vessels.  

I was also involved in the VLCC Pool JV set up back in 2010 to commercially manage our spot VLCCs. 

My current role as Senior Commercial Manager - Tankers is to lead the VLCC desk consisting of chartering, operations, and post-fixture analysis/claims functions. The VLCC desk looks after the commercial interest of OSC's 18 VLCCs by employing the vessels and has generated over 1.2 billion USD in revenue over the last five years. 

Last but not least, I have had the pleasure of mentoring bright young Omanis in the commercial department. These individuals are the future of our company, and their development is essential to our nation's future success.
