Chris joined ABS in 2008 as part of their Graduate Training scheme. After initial training in Houston, Chris was posted to South Korea where he spent 6 years working in the ‘Big-3’ Yards. Subsequent to this, Chris was transferred to Japan where he spent 3-years, after which he returned to the UK as Principal Surveyor in Charge of ABS’ Aberdeen Operations office, responsible for all North Sea activities.

After a short spell in Houston running a technology project, Chris was posted to his current role of Director of Regional Business Development responsible for the Middle East & Africa; based in Dubai.

Chris has a Bachelors in Marine Technology from the University of Plymouth, a Masters in Project & Programme Management specializing in Oil & Gas from the University of Liverpool, and is currently enrolled in the Global Executive MBA Program at the University of Manchester’s ‘Alliance Business School’.
