Humayun Sheikh, a citizen from Pakistan, completed his honours degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2016 from the University of Leicester, UK and was recognized as an Outstanding performer among International Students in 2014 in UK.

He has a passion to bring an imminent impact in maritime domain of Pakistan and region. After an internship at Damen Shipyard headquarters at Netherlands, Humayun joined Seamax Marine Service based in Karachi, Pakistan as Project Manager. Soon he was assigned role of General Manager. Currently, he is holding portfolio of Chief Operating Officer.

During his leadership in five years, Seamax Marine Services carried out successful salvage operation of MV Heng Tong 77 in September 2021 and successfully changed the Single Point Mooring buoy with the new in March 2021. These remain the first ever such achievements in the history of Pakistan eliminating the foreign dependence of his country in such intricate operations utilizing local resources.
