Sibel is a qualified lawyer from Turkey. Upon completion her LLM degree from Swansea University (Wales) in International Commercial and Maritime Law; she had an internship in IMO.

She built up her regional practice and experience through working with top local firms in Turkey and UAE.

Currently, she is the Group General Counsel of Global Feeder Shipping, a leading container shipping group of companies which is one of the oldest and biggest ship owning & feeder operator group providing services to 50 plus destinations in the Middle East -Gulf, Indian Subcontinent, Far-East and Africa.

Sibel handles A to Z legal requirements working closely with main UAE government authorities and all commercial and legal sectors of the maritime industry; advice on the whole spectrum of legal matters that apply to the business, managing and mitigating legal risks by designing and implementing company procedures, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations that conform with their day to day operations
